Open House
Cristo Rey OKC invites YOU to join us for Open House on Saturday, November 9th from 10:00AM-12:00PM. Come take a tour of our new school, meet teachers, and receive admissions information.
Academics integrated with professional work experience and a culture of support and inclusivity create an environment where students of all backgrounds can thrive and feel at home.
Cristo Rey OKC students are encouraged to follow in the example of Blessed Stanley Rother, our school patron, by striving to be young men and women of faith, knowledge, service, and purpose. Our community fosters growth not just academically, but also in character and interpersonal relationships. We actively encourage participation in diverse clubs and activities promoting holistic development and making meaningful connections among peers.
We ensure that each student has a break from our rigorous academic load by providing opportunities for clubs as part of the academic experience. Students are able to participate in traditional clubs such as National Honors Society or Drama Club as well as more unique clubs like Crocheting or Dorothy Day Service Club. You can also embrace cultures around you by joining Hispanic Student Association, Black Student Union, or Asian Culture Club. We encourage students to share their ideas about clubs they would like to see and welcome the formation of new clubs depending upon student interest.
Students have the opportunity to build their collaboration, teamwork, and sportsmanship skills through our competitive sports. We offer Cross-Country, Volleyball, Rowing, Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Pom, and E-Sports.
As an Catholic community we provide our students the opportunity to grow in their faith through our campus ministry program. Students will have the opportunity to connect with one another as Catholics or non-Catholics through a variety of on and off campus events. Students are leaders in our weekly Mass serving as readers, altar servers, and singers.
We are committed to educating our students as whole individuals, with a strong focus on their mental health and overall well-being. Our students have access to mental health counselors to support them through the sometimes stressful and challenging high school years. Each student will meet with one of our mental health counselors to determine how we can best support that student during their time at CROKC. Our counselors regularly meet with students to discuss things like making new friends, academic pressure, work stress, and other mental health challenges. Additionally, our mental health counselors host quarterly assemblies to teach students about topics important to teenagers such as maintaining healthy relationships and suicide awareness and prevention. They also lead counseling groups for students based on need.
At CROKC, our college counseling department is dedicated to guiding students—many of whom are first-generation college applicants—through every step of the college admissions process. From applications, financial aid and scholarships to essays and interviews, we provide comprehensive support to ensure our students’ success. With a 100% college acceptance rate for our first three graduated classes, our students have gained admission to prestigious institutions such as Notre Dame, the U.S. Naval Academy, Howard University, TCU, OU, OSU, and many more.
